Sean started his culinary education at SAIT, during this time he completed his Red Seal Certification at Q'Haute Cuisine, since then he has furthered his knowledge of the trade working in some of Calgary's most iconic restaurants such as Teatro, Rouge, and the Hawthorn Dining Room.  Now in Squamish, Sean continues to serve the best the Sea to Sky has to offer.  The result of this experience is a style defined by simple elegance, with a focus on celebrating the quality of ingredients by allowing them to speak for themselves; applying thoughtful cooking techniques to enhance their natural flavours.  Sean also employs modernist cooking techniques to create enticing dishes that play on the senses and elevate humble ingredients that are often overlooked.

Sean brings over a decade of culinary expertise to the table, reflected in every recipe, menu and event offered by Evoke.  A primary focus of Sean's menu development is the use of dynamic techniques which are constantly evolving to provide exceptional guest experiences.
